Oxbow Energy Solutions LLC is currently looking to hire a Sales and Supply Trainee to join our team in The Woodlands, Texas. This position is an exciting new marketing and sales role that interfaces with Oxbow’s customers and suppliers to support our Latin America petroleum coke business. The position requires candidate to be fluent in English, Portuguese, and/or Spanish. The successful candidate will receive comprehensive training on Oxbow’s products, suppliers, and customers. The Sales and Supply Trainee will travel to various Latin American countries to manage our supplier and sales relationships. This position will also provide an opportunity to develop a broad understanding of the supply and demand characteristics for the petroleum coke market and eventually the opportunity to transfer into a commercial trader role.
-Cultivates and manages relationships with Latin America to support Oxbow’s business expansion.
-Partners with suppliers and key customers in Mexico, Columbia, Peru and Brazil to ensure timely and accurate service.
-Performs analysis for early-stage business development projects and communicates process improvements to leadership.
-Reviews and analyzes supply and demand trends for preparation of the Latin American strategic plan in support of strategic business development initiatives.
-Gathers and analyzes data to prepare customer and supplier presentations.
-Supports management with special projects and workflow process improvements.
-Fluency in English, Portuguese and/or Spanish preferred.
-Must have excellent business acumen, communication, and customer service skills.
-Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, a self-driven work ethic, and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
-Team-oriented with strong interpersonal and influencing skills.
