Terneuzen (The Netherlands)
As one of our major facilities on the northwest European coast, Terneuzen has a storage capacity of 600,000 metric tons and operates four floating cranes. Our fully computerized, mobile blending installation maintains the high quality of all products. With the capability to screen 300 metric tons per hour, and two rescreening plants for truck and train loading, this facility boasts its own on-site state-of-the-art laboratory and preparation room.
Flushing (The Netherlands)
Flushing has a storage capacity of 900,000 metric tons, and the capability to expand further. With four floating cranes at its disposal, this facility can discharge up to 20,000 metric tons a day of coal and 15,000 metric tons a day of coke. A mobile screening plant allows the coal/coke to be screened and loaded onto the vessel without it having to be moved again.
The seaport of Rouen is the location of Oxbow's dedicated storage yard in France. Capable of storing 900,000 metric tons of coal, this port is able to discharge 20,000 metric tons a day and load board-to-board at a rate of 4000 metric tons a day.
The port of Dunkerque is our largest import storage yard with direct sea access. This facility has a total storage area of about 300,000 square meters, and is capable of discharging 30,000 metric tons of coal a day.
Nancy and Mondelange (France)
Serving the country’s industrial customers, these two major inland river terminals provide access to the European markets by way of rail, road and inland waterways, and both are capable of handling various bulk cargoes.
Ghent operates a modern medium-dense washing and cyclone plant, where washing of up to 200 metric tons an hour is possible, catering to virtually all size requirements. With two quay cranes, we are able to discharge 15,000 metric tons a day, load fines at a rate of 10,000 metric tons a day, and load lump at 2,000 metric tons a day.
Immingham (United Kingdom)
Having a dedicated UK depot in the Immingham dock on the Humber River allows us to handle approximately 500,000 metric tons of coal and coke products annually. The site is rail connected and linked to the motorway, making it ideally situated to serve the Midlands and north of England.
The nearby Humber International Terminal (HIT) has a storage capacity of 900,000 metric tons. The two berths can handle one Panamax ship of 80,000 metric tons plus one Capesize ship, partly laden, of up to 130,000 metric tons. We have the ability to stockpile and reload to train coal coming through HIT. Screening, crushing, blending and washing services for third parties are also available.
Amsterdam (The Netherlands)
Oxbow ships 500,000 metric tons of coal annually through Amsterdam OBA, which has a storage capacity of 3,000,000 metric tons.
Located in the port of Altamira, facing the Gulf of Mexico in the state of Tamaulipas, Oxbow stores, screens, bags and blends a host of carbon products including fuel grade petroleum coke, met coke, foundry coke, coal, and graphite. The two hectare site has a combined storage capacity of 100,000 tons.
